I just watched this video about if walking football could help prevent Diabetes Type II in the over 50's presented by Henry Winter.

Thought the following facts from it were handy to quote when talking to people who don't play walking football yet and want an elevator pitch about it's health benefits.

Playing 1 hour of walking football per week over a 3 month period means that players will cover over 30 miles which works out to burning an estimated 4200 calories
