        Mission Statement

          You can find lots of information about Walking Football online in various sites which include newspaper articles, social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter, FA county websites, sites dedicated to a particular walking football team and many more. However this information is spread across the internet and it can easily take several hours surfing around the web to find what you are looking for. Our aim at WalkingFootball.com is to centralize this information on one site. Our mission is to become the GOTO site for everything related to WalkingFootball worldwide. We can't do this alone which is why we have created this community where you can add your information yourself and share it with the worldwide Walking Football Community. This website is a completely FREE OF CHARGE resource for you to do so in.

        About Our Forums

          The forums allow you to engage in conversation with other site members. We currently have the following forums for you to participate in.   Walking Football News Forum If you have some interesting news relating to Walking Football please share it with the members here.   Walking Football Clubs & Facilities Forum When the site was first launched our members introduced their Walking Football club here. However we now have a separate clubs section so this forum is used primarily to showcase new Walking Football fitness sessions that have been added to our events calendar which can be found here - https://www.walkingfootball.com/calendar/ and where members can post replies and ask questions about them.   Walking Football Tournaments, Exhibitions & Festival News Forum When the site was first launched our members promoted their tournament and exhibition news here. However due to the difficulty in viewing what was an upcoming event to one which had passed we have added the opportunity to add these via our events calendar found here  - https://www.walkingfootball.com/calendar/6-walking-football-tournaments-exhibitions-festival-calendar/ This forum is now used primarily to showcase the new events and where members can post replies and ask questions about them or report back on what happened when they attended one.   Walking Football Leagues Forum Promote or post news regarding your walking football league in this forum   Ask John Croot Forum John Croot is the man behind walking football. John invented walking football after the Chesterfield FC Community Trust received funding from the Football Foundation for a project called Extra Time This Q&A forum gives you the opportunity to ask John a question about walking football.   Game, Referee, Player And Volunteer Classified Forum Are you looking for another team to play, a referee, more players or a  volunteer to help in the running of your club? Then please post your requests in here.   Walking Football Charity Events & Fundraising Forum If you're running a fundraiser of any kind to raise money for charity we will do our best to help you promote it So please post that information here as well.   Walking Football.com Member Exclusive Discounts & Savings Forum As a valued member of this website, we work hard to find and offer you discounts and promotions with various companies that might have something of value to offer this community.         Interviews

          Our interview section is open to Walking Football clubs and players. Read out other Walking Footballers experiences and you are more than welcome to take part in an interview with us. There is a link on the interviews page to contact us if you would like to take part.

        Events

          The global calendar events section allows you to add your weekly Walking Football sessions, tournament, exhibition and any other one off events to the site so they will appear each day they are run on the front of our site. These calendar additions will also appear on our Map section. This allows people to search and find your information in they way they prefer. They will be able to find them via the calendar, the map and by searching via the search box This ensures your information is easy to find by interested parties

        Map

          Our map is auto populated when you add an event to the events section or add your location to your club page in the clubs directory This provides prospective players and anyone else in your area to find your information easily. They can use the map to drill down to any location worldwide or by category via the map markers The map markers are grouped together on the map and split open the further you zoom into a location ensuring a clean and professional user experience when they are looking for your details

        Clubs

          The clubs directory section is your own personal part of this website. Use our site to run your own club page completely free of charge!   Your club's front page is like a business card in that you can add details such as About Our Club Personal Location Map Telephone Number Email Address Facebook Address Twitter Address Youtube Channel Website Address   You can start one of four types of club pages depending on whether you want to publicize the information or keep it to just your team players! Public Club Page - Everyone can see the club and its posts, and can participate without joining. Open Club Page - Everyone can see the club and its posts, but only members can participate. Everyone can join. Closed Club page - Everyone can see the club and who's in it, but only members can see posts and participate. Users need to ask a leader to join. Private Club page - Only members can find the club and see its posts. Users need to be invited by a leader to join.   Your club can have it's own: Club Fixtures List Blog Forum Videos Section Event Calendar Photo Gallery Crowd Funding Project Section Sponsors page promoting the companies that help support your club   The closed club option is popular because you can advertise basic information such as email address and telephone number making it easier for other clubs to contact you, but keep your club affairs private to the members and fans ONLY.

          We list all of the publically available Walking Football videos that are available on Youtube so you don't have to travel and search for them on there

        Crowdfunding

          What Is Crowd Funding? Crowdfunding is the practice of funding a project by raising monetary contributions from a large number of people. It was estimated that worldwide, over 34 billion US dollars was raised in 2015 solely via crowdfunding   Use Walkingfootball.com to start your crowdfunding project We have two ways you can start your crowdfunding project.   Main Crowdfunding Section - Everyone can see your crowdfunding project and it will be within the three main sections of Equipment, Football Kit & Venue Fees Club Page Crowdfunding - Depending on how you set your walking football club page up, depends on who can see your project. This means you can create a personal club members only crowdfunding project up and taylor it to something specific related to your club such as raising revenue for a trip to a tournament, or raising funds to host a festival event etc.
