Not so much a 'B' team but a Bee team

The Nash Amblers play their walking football at Tameside Stadium, the home of Curzon Ashton F.C. Mondays and Fridays at 11-00am. We are a group which is slowly growing and we play in the seasonal leagues of the GMWF at Heywood Sports Village. We have launched Bee team too - The Nash Bees ! We have yet to win a competitive tournament but we are knocking on the door , having been runners up recently and giving good accounts of ourselves at some indoor tournaments. We are, I think the only club to have a 100% winning record in any given round of fixtures in the GMWF (April 2017) We have a 100% record in several friendly games we have played - and enjoyed. The last time out at Wigan, we won three and drew one of our four group games. Results are not crucially important but we are a competitive bunch and this shows up in our internal games twice a week. We have close links with 'Tameside Striders' and a crossover effect in terms of players but the two groups ARE separate entities. We seek a few friendly games (Monday mornings) in the winter months - please get in touch. We have an active website at www.tamestriderswalkingfootball.org.uk/the-nash-amblers

Based at King Street - the home of Denton Youth. We are a growing group. Results matter but are not important, either internally or when playing in the odd tournament. We split into Under and Over 65 age groups when numbers allow. We play largely for fun, enjoyment and exercise. We try to be inclusive and may be on the verge of expansion to two sessions per week. We have close links with The Nash Amblers and The Nash Bees - both based at Curzon Ashton F.C - and there is a crossover effect with several players, although the two groups ARE separate entities. Both feature on our successful website which is at www.tamestriderswalkingfootball.org.uk
