The aim of Walking Football is both to draw once-active people back to their sporting roots and also to engage those who want to gradually improve their fitness in a social environment. Anyone interested can turn up on the day, ensuring that they are wearing sensible clothing for exercise, and football boots if they have them, although there are some boots available to borrow in various sizes.

  24. Walking Football is a slower, modified version of the world game. It addresses social isolation and physical in-activity in seniors. We canvas the growth and success of the project in 2017 and welcome organisations to come on board with us to broaden support for seniors across Melbourne. Interested in participating?
