As the name suggests, the player movement is slowed down; but the tempo of the game remains. The fun sessions are coached by fitness instructors to alter the level and speed of the game for your group. There have been many positive reviews about the sessions. With all involved saying that it has improved their fitness; but it had also introduced them to some new friends. 8. Aulnay Walking Football Kit

Project will expire in 3 months and 4 days

Aulnay Walking Football was started in March 2017 as a way of helping a number of the retired local residents to keep fitter by being able to play football again. Things started slowly, but week by week we have gained more members and we now have between 15 and 20 players attending each session. Like most walking footballers, we are very competitive and want to be able to play against other teams both in France and England and to do this we need to obtain a set of kit. Our club is self funding, but obtaining the capital to invest in a set of kit is a bit beyond us at present and so we ask for your help in getting our team off and walking for the tournaments we should like to enter. We are grateful for any help you can give? Every Friday at 11.docx

  10. Hi, We are a new club in the Charente Maritime in France and would love to hear from any other walking football group in France. The size of the country we live in makes competition against other teams more problematical than it is in the UK, but as the sport grows in popularity here as it has in the UK it would be great to learn from and play against more established clubs, whilst helping new groups to form! We would love to hear from you? Football Poster.pdf
