  1. Walking Football is available under the Get Active programme that is run by Adur & Worthing Wellbeing. Walking Football is a version of the game to encourage senior players to get back involved. As the name suggests, the player movement is slowed down; but the tempo of the game remains. The fun sessions are coached by fitness instructors to alter the level and speed of the game for your group. There have been many positive reviews about the sessions. With all involved saying that it has improved their fitness; but it had also introduced them to some new friends.   6. Woensdag 13 september 2017 was er bij V.V. S.J.C. een walking football toernooi waarbij er 16 teams uit heel Nederland mee deden, waaronder ex-internationals, met onder anderen Sjaak Swart, Simon Tahamata en Ernie Brands. Het was een zeer geslaagde dag.

And walking football is a great way for particularly the over 50’s to socialise and get a bit of exercise at the same time. So when the Hampshire FA saw that there was an opening for a new session in Fareham, they knew it would be an own goal not to go ahead.

Although the registration deadline for the February session of the Greater Manchester Over 60's Walking Football League has now past, we do have opportunities for the March, April and May sessions and there will be an Autumn season from September to December.     welcome to Wirral Walking Football, come and join us for some kick-a-bout fun! Walking football sessions are now available for both men and women. We are a friendly group with varying abilities and ailments but share an enjoyment for the beautiful game. Wirral Walking Football Club now plays at The Soccer Dome, 132 Birkenhead Road, Seacombe, Wirral. CH44 7BZ. This fabulous facility boasts 3 indoor 3G astro pitches, private changing rooms, motion censored showers, underfloor heating, refreshments bar and ample car parking. The venue is located between the Four Bridges and Seacombe Ferry and is easily accessible by road and public transport (buses 409, 411 and 423 go right past the door). The cost of playing will still be £2.00 per person (please pay at reception) and will include a free cup of tea. Sessions take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10am - midday Come on down on either Monday or Wednesday for a 10am start. £2.00 per session (£3.00 if you want a bacon / sausage or egg sandwich, butty, batch, barm, bap, cob, roll or whatever you call it). The Walking Football team of Club Brugge is preparing for the European Legends Walking Football Festival that takes place at the Dutch sporting centre Papendal in Arnhem, the Netherlands, from 18th of September until 20th of September. 24 European teams are being expected, not only for playing Walking Football against each other but also for making new friends and exchange their experiences about the beautiful sport of Walking Football.
  12. Teams from the Fermanagh Men's Shed take part in walking football delivered by Sport NI Active Communities coaches within Fermanagh and Omagh District Council.   20. I have just packed the kit for tomorrow's tournament in Wythenshawe. Looking forward to it, 9.15 start to ensure I get a parking place I have been informed there is also a Morris Dancing comp taking place in the hall. Not sure if someone has watched us play and mistaken the sport. They are expecting lots of coaches. Good news the cafe is open from 9am selling full English Breakfasts. Closes at 11.30am. Closes for half an hour the n reopens selling Sunday Lunches all sounds very sophisticated. Not sure whether to wear kit or a suit and tie. Hopefully some photos and videos

    Sport North Tyneside run a free weekly community walking football session at The Parks Sports Centre. It’s a standard game of football where players walk instead of run. It is also a great way to get fit and an opportunity to meet up with others. After the full time whistle you can also enjoy a free cup of tea or coffee. The session happens every Wednesday, 2:00-3:00pm. Can't make that time? Don't worry we also run a Walking Football session at Hadrian Leisure Centre on Thursday, 6:00-7:00pm.
